The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) today confirmed the host cities for the ITTF World Masters Championships.

Las Vegas, USA will host the ITTF World Masters Championships in 2027, with Istanbul, Turkey set to stage the event in 2028.
The ITTF World Masters Championships is a celebration of the sport’s enduring global appeal, bringing together veteran players from across the world to compete at the highest level of age-group table tennis. Open to players aged 40 and above, the event is one of the largest gatherings in the ITTF calendar, attracting thousands of participants from dozens of nations who continue to demonstrate that the sport knows no age limit.
Las Vegas, one of the world’s most recognised sports and entertainment destinations, will host the ITTF World Masters Championships for the first time. The Mandalay Bay Convention Center will serve as the competition venue, offering more than 150 competition tables and the rare convenience of direct hotel connectivity, creating a fully walkable event experience for athletes and officials. The bid is backed by experienced organisers and established partnerships with city and sports authorities, combining strong operational delivery with significant commercial and media potential.
Istanbul will then take the baton in 2028, with ambitions to deliver the largest ITTF World Masters Championships in the event’s history. The Turkish city is targeting capacity for more than 6,000 players in a single-venue setup, expandable beyond 8,000, underpinned by the city’s exceptional infrastructure. With more than 350 direct international flights and over 120,000 hotel beds, Istanbul offers outstanding global connectivity and scale, with the full backing of state and municipal authorities providing financial security and operational confidence.
